t Tropez is about a one hour drive from the Villa.

However, it is advisable to stop in Ste Maxime and take the ferry boat (12€ return) as there is often a traffic jam between Port Grimaud and St Tropez.

Alternatively, there is a ferry from Cannes (47€ return). Arriving by ferry into the famous port is fun and picturesque.

The sleek yachts are out of this world.

Meander through the village streets, pop into the boutiques especially the two that are famous for the leather sandals known as “Tropeziennes” (Rondini family and K. Jacques).

Have lunch at the Place des Lices, take in the Citadelle, le Quartier de la Ponche, or le Musée de l’Annonciade.

On Tuesdays and Saturdays is the provençale market on the Place des Lices.
