agnes sur Mer, 18 kilometres from the villa Port d’Attache, is a small seaside town.
Of interest are the Hippodrome (racecourse), the Chateau Grimaldi situated in the old town (Haut de Cagnes), and the Musée Renoir, all well worth a visit.
The Musée Renoir is located in the last villa in which Renoir lived. The setting is peaceful and the villa exhibits much of his work. The studio where he painted is a highpoint.
